F. Lee Weaver earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Wake Forest College in 1964 and his Juris Doctor from Wake Forest School of Law in 1967. Mr. Weaver was admitted to the North Carolina State Bar in 1967 and is licensed to practice in the United States District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of the United States District Court. From 1970 to 1978, Mr. Weaver worked for First Union Corporation as Vice President and Counsel. Mr. Weaver also served as General Counsel for Family Dollar Stores prior to founding this firm in 1982 with Charles W. Bennett.
Mr. Weaver concentrates his practice in corporate law, estate planning, mergers, acquisitions, asset sales, asset purchases and working with family-owned businesses. Mr. Weaver also devotes a substantial amount of his time to representing numerous homeowners' and property owners' associations in Mecklenburg and Union Counties.
Mr. Weaver is a member of the local First Charter Bank Advisory Board and has been active in numerous community organizations in and around Matthews.
