CHARLES BENNETT: Business law is an area that covers a very broad spectrum. The formation of entities such as corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships.

CHARLES BENNETT: It can be mergers. It can be acquisitions. It can be the purchase and sale of a particular business. We offer pretty much all of those services with the exclusion of securities laws.

F. LEE WEAVER: The most important role a business attorney can perform is explaining the transaction to the client so it's understandable. There are a lot of different problems associated with most business transactions and the experience helps you get through those problems. We have been in Matthews since 1982 and during that time a great part of our business involves business law practice.

CHARLES BENNETT: We're a highly respected firm in the community and quite frankly, across most of the state. Building a long-term relationship with our clients and the client's trust in us is an essential part of having the relationship and the trust that let's them be able to call on us when the need arises. We feel like having that relationship gives us a better ability to give them the information that they need on a quicker basis, a more competent basis and certainly on a more economic basis.

F. LEE WEAVER: I think it's important for the clients to realize that what you read off the internet doesn't necessarily protect you the way you need to be protected, that you need legal advice from an experienced attorney.
